It was wonderful to hold our Christmas Dinner after an absence of 3 years and to chat, laugh, and enjoy the company of members and friends. It is the first time our founder and Honorary Chairman, Frank Tumson, and his wife Noelle were unable to attend and we also missed Joan Boulvin so a glass was raised to absent friends wishing them all good health for 2023.
Once again the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club was the perfect venue where Troy and his staff were as attentive as ever. The service was excellent and the food delicious which added to the ambiance. There were numerous spot prizes and a big Thank You to all those who very kindly support us again this year.
We were honored to have the Belgian Ambassador Karen Van Vlierberge and the Luxembourg Ambassador Florence Ensch in attendance. Apart from the joy of catching up with friends it was great to see how much everyone enjoyed the fun quiz with Linda Golden the lucky winner of the much sought-after Boyne Valley hamper.
We would like to wish all BLCC members, their families, and friends a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Healthy New Year.
