A well-attended and interesting event was hosted by the Belgian and Luxembourg Ambassadors to strengthen business and trade relations, and relaunch the activities of BLCC Ireland with opening remarks by Mr. Robert Troy TD, Minister of State with responsibility for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation
Ambassador Karen Van Vlierberge welcomed Ambassador Florence Ensch to her new posting in Ireland. It is the first time that Luxembourg will have an Embassy in Ireland so it means that the BLCC and both Ambassadors can work closer together in the interest of the three countries represented by the Chamber.
Renowned Dutch Artist, Lia Laimbock was there to present intriguing paintings of our local landscape to Ambassador Vlierberge, Ambassador Ensch and Minister Troy. Those present enjoyed some face-to-face networking which is something we have missed over the past couple of years.
