“More than 60 years of bilateral diplomatic relations have contributed to strong political, cultural and economic bonds between our countries and their residents.
The establishment in 2022 of a resident Luxembourg Embassy in Dublin, a trade mission headed by our Prime Minister focusing on the logistical/maritime and also digital sector in 2023 and the many other events and visits that followed brought already positive results and led to new partnerships between people and businesses.
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Dublin (BLCC) has been facilitating, expanding and deepening existing but also new business-to-business ties over the last years and we are delighted to be part of this endeavor, now on a local basis.
Hence, last year I suggested that André Flammang, in his role of Deputy Head of Mission and Consul, join the board of the BLCC. This in order to emphasise the Embassy’s commitment and of course to further develop the links between our nations and economies.
Looking forward to a great collaboration, Florence Ensch, Ambassador of Luxembourg in Dublin.”
