13 May 2025, we proudly hosted a  event between the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Ireland (BLCC) and the Italian Irish Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, (IICI) with the generous support of Bank of Ireland.

This insightful evening featured three distinguished guest speakers who shared valuable expertise on navigating finance in today’s unpredictable economic landscape. The event was well attended, reaching full capacity with just over 50 attendees, and the engaging discussions kept everyone well-informed on current tariffs, markets, stocks, and shares.

Members had the opportunity to pose questions and participate in lively Q&A sessions, further enriching the conversation.

After the sessions, we moved to The Marker Hotel, a fantastic central venue, where both chambers were warmly looked after by the dedicated team. Their professionalism created a wonderful post-event atmosphere.

A huge thank you to the management team at The Marker for their support!

A huge thank you to the Rathdown Alumni Association and the Principal Alan Cox for co-hosting our successful event.

Our speaker Eva Perez was so informative and the audience was so engaged we had to stop all the questions and answers, as the enthusiasm in the room was catching.  Eva gave a powerful talk on using AI to improve our Linkedin Profiles and Brands using AI Tools to help create meaningful content.

On Tuesday, January 28th, we opened our events calendar for 2025 with a fantastic turnout at Engineers Ireland, co-hosted by the Structures & Construction Division.

We were thrilled to welcome our first guest speaker, Mr. Stuart Prause from Isocell Ltd. He provided valuable insights into Isocell’s range of membranes and tapes, highlighting how the right products, applied from the start of a project, can significantly enhance building performance, moisture management, and energy efficiency.

Our second speaker, Mr. Jandre Oosthuizen of HTL Tech, shared an exciting update on a recently completed social housing project in County Louth, where 3D printing was used to create concrete houses. Jandre guided us through the entire process, from initial drawings to key handover.
The discussion sparked a lot of interest!
This topic was particularly timely, as it was featured across national media the following week.

A huge thank you to Engineers Ireland and our guest speakers for making this such an informative and engaging event!
